Features
- Sensor on the relief valve for flood detection

- Flood alert feature activated with add-on connection kit, compatible with BMS and cellular communication
- Integrated supervisory switch (UL Certified, Safety Signaling, Control No. 3L38) on outside stem and yoke resilient seated gate valve
Series C500 reduced pressure detector assemblies feature a flood sensor using SentryPlus Alert® technology to detect continuous discharge from the relief valve. When paired with an add on connection kit, the sensor is activated to relay alerts for potential flooding events. Connection kit options include BMS, cellular communication, and the Sensor Control Monitor which enables integration with BAS via RS-485 Modbus or the Nexa® platform through Wi-Fi.
This series helps stop the reverse flow of fire protection system substances being pumped or siphoned into the potable water supply. A meter incorporated to detect ground leaks and unauthorized illegal taps greatly reduces annual water expenses. It is 70% lighter than traditional designs and is ideal for health hazard cross-connections, such as on fire sprinkler systems. Check with local water authorities for installation requirements.

The TS-OSY model is equipped with a factory installed, durable, and robust supervisory switch (UL Certified, Safety Signaling, Control No. 3L38) for tamper detection. The alert sounds when attempts are made to remove the switch from the gate valve or to close the valve. Wiring of the supervisory switch to a fire alarm control panel is required.
