LF880V
Lead Free* MasterSeries N-Pattern Reduced Pressure Zone Assembly Backflow Preventers with Flood Sensor - Large Diameter
Features
- Sensor on the relief valve for flood detection
- Integrates with the Sensor Control Monitor to deliver maintenance alerts to BAS via RS-485 Modbus or the Nexa platform by Wi-Fi connectivity
- Utilizes advanced ArmorTek coating technology to build in electrochemical corrosion inhibitor and microbial inhibitor to resist corrosion of internal parts
- Fulfills the application needs in industrial plants, hospitals, morgues, mortuaries, chemical plants, irrigation systems, boiler feed, water lines, and other installations with exceptional flow characteristics
- Combines the use of a stainless-steel relief valve seat and stainless-steel check components for maximum performance and durability
- Requires no special tools for inline service
- Is highly suitable for potable drinking water systems where code mandates protection from backpressure and backsiphonage conditions
- Protects potable water against cross-connection contamination of high hazard (toxic) fluids in water services
- Sizes 2 1/2 to 10 Inch
MasterSeries LF880V Lead Free* reduced pressure zone assemblies feature a flood sensor using SentryPlus Alert® technology to detect continuous discharge from the relief valve. When paired with an add on connection kit, the sensor is activated to relay alerts for potential flooding events. Connection kit options include BMS, cellular communication, and the Sensor Control Monitor which enables integration with BAS via RS-485 Modbus or the Nexa® platform through Wi-Fi.
This series prevents the reverse flow of contaminated water caused by backsiphonage or backpressure from entering the potable water supply. Ideal for protection at health hazard cross-connections or for containment at the service line entrance. Its compact modular design facilitates maintenance and assembly access. Check with local water authorities for installation requirements.
